South Yorkshire indie rock band based in Sheffield and Barnsley, CROSSFIRE EAGLES, are making a big impression in their formative years as a band. Following on from their debut EP last year, the band have just released new single, 'West Street' - available now on all digital platforms, and they are gigging relentlessly in and around the area.

Before putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) I had a good listen to the track 3 or 4 times on a loop, and each time I enjoyed it more than the last. This is a stylish and engaging single in the vein of 90s Britpop with a funky beat to get your head nodding and feet tapping.

The bass injects vibrancy, and at times a lugubrious, moody feel, the vocals are perfect for fans of Noel and his High Flying Birds, and the overall effect is a blissful glacier-like wave of indie music to get lost in.

It's infectious and really well produced. Love it, guys. Check them out if you like Alt Rock, Indie and Britpop, and a deliciously deep bass. Bright future ahead.

Band:

James Wilson - lead vocals/backing guitar

Tyler Savage - Lead guitar/ backing vocals

William Simister - Bass player

Keaton Barker - Drums
