BAD DOG - Jupiter (Single)
North Wales band BAD DOG have built a strong reputation for pulsating live shows with scorching guitar riffs, rasping vocals and an enticing repertoire of accomplished self-penned numbers interwoven with a sprinkling of well-chosen covers. Their latest single ‘Jupiter’, lifted from their self-titled EP, has all the hallmarks of their concert performances and has been a staple of their live set for some time.
Martin Byast’s vocals are crisp and clear and the rest of the band combine to produce a fine end product. But, it’s the scintillating guitar work that stays with you though, with hard-hitting riffs and spiralling solos that escalate before morphing into a Bolan-Esque refrain. If this is the first time you have come across the band it is a fine example of the high quality of musicianship you can expect.
BAD DOG is an accomplished act who take their performance up to another level on the live stage and if you get the chance go and see them on one of their up and coming dates.
