Long standing Hungarian punk rock group Bankrupt have released a lyric video for their new single "Come Back Joe Strummer". Released just a week ahead of the legendary Clash frontman's birthday (21 Aug), the song is a reminder that Joe Strummer was not just a punk rock visionary, but he also realized the importance of climate change awareness well ahead of his time.

"Thank you for the soundtrack of Climate Judgement Day" is a reference to the apocalyptic lyrics of London Calling, which feel a lot more real with today's news headlines. In these critical times, we'd need revolutionary voices like Joe Strummer more than ever.

The song is available on Bandcamp, Spotify and all other digital platforms. It's recommended to fans of The Clash and Clash-influenced bands such as Rancid or The Interrupters.

All profits from the track will be donated to the Joe Strummer Foundation.
