Thirteen Stars are back with their own brand of Southern Rock and bluesy, boogie-woogie swing all the way from the West Coast Of Cumbria. Their latest single ‘Running So Long’ is a Gretsch-soaked country rock masterpiece that just begs to be blasted at full volume from the car stereo; this could well be THE feel-good anthem of the Autumn!

Here’s what lead singer/guitarist Hoss has to say about the song:

"I wrote it after Tom Petty died. We were devastated. It was kind of a way of getting over never being able to tell him how much he influenced me and how much he has meant to me in my life. We wrote this in celebration of him. The video was filmed right on our doorstep in Cockermouth on a Viking Settlement in the middle of June. The water was nowhere near as cold as you would imagine!"

The band have toured extensively across the UK and Europe since their formation in 2009, scoring support slots with the likes of The Quireboys, Heyseed Dixie and Skinny Molly to name but a few, as well as releasing four studio albums and a live EP.  With a handful of festival appearances already booked in for 2020 and more shows (and an album!) to be announced later this year, the guys are ready and raring to cement their place as champions of down right dirty blues.

Thirteen Stars are:

Hoss Thompson - Vocal/Guitar

Jax Sedgwick - Guitar

Mike Reid - Bass

Andy Bates - Drums
