Black Emerald are a three-piece band from Reading, England sporting influences ranging from hard rock, thrash, doom, southern and progressive metal to create a truly unique sound which cannot be found easily elsewhere. Each member of the band brings their own style and influences into the music which gives Black Emerald a distinctive and collaborative sound.
In 2016 Black Emerald hit the road with the ‘Hairy, Lairy and Kinda Scary’ tour which saw them play many great venues across the South of England and Wales.
Fast forward to 2017 and the band already played two dates for the Rock Diabetes charity: The Warm up gig entitled ‘Stoking The Fire’ in Reading and the main event Fire and Forge Festival in Trowbridge.
December 9th, 2017 Black Emerald will play a very special hometown show:
Facebarmageddon boasts nearly 50 bands on 2 stages over 3 days.
Black Emerald will be joining Divine Chaos as main support on the Blue Stage with bands such as Left For Red, Master Charger and Footprints In The Custard also supporting. Other bands on the bill during the weekend include Raging Speedhorn, Evil Scarecrow, Kill II This and many more.
