Want to know more about 'Guilty', Jack The Envious comment:
"On this track, we get more political than we have before. The influence of the song strongly comes from our background. Back home, such subjects revolved around us on a
daily basis. Yet it's all over the world that people with power use it, some
for good, some for bad.
got to a certain point where there are so many problems, and no one takes the
responsibility, leaving everything in the air. We aren't judging, but we just wanted to say what we saw, and make a
statement that we're not a part of it. You
can take a listen and draw your own conclusion."

Jack The Envious are preparing to release their second EP 'In Your Own Way', via free digital download, next month. On the EP, the band have this to say:
"We've got so many songs in our arsenal at the moment, it's been crazy to choose only five songs, but we wanted to keep it simple. Bands change all the time, a little here, a little there. With that being said, we wanted to capture it yet give the listeners who already know us that familiar JTE vibe. The songs are, in a way, very different from each other, but at the same time contain the guidelines of a JTE song.
We never settled on one style of writing, and every time it's a different journey but with the same friends."
Jack The Envious will be supporting More Than Machines at the Surya, along with Cuecliché & Your Illuminations! In addition the band are playing their first UK headline show on the 5th
of July at the Black Heart in Camden.
Formed in 2012 by Nir Perlman (Vocals), and Guy Avnon (Guitar), Jack The Envious were later joined by Guy Checkarov (Bass) during their military service. Between
2011 and 2014, Jack The Envious focused mainly on perfecting their live show and writing songs, struggling to mix both national service and band life together.
After releasing their debut EP, 'Pull You Down', last year the band had a few very successful local shows while maintaining new content releases. Aiming to branch out, they left everything behind and moved to the UK on January 2017. 'Guilty' is the second single from the EP, and is the follow up to 'Begging For More', which was released in May.
"Jack The Envious is here to rattle your bones and transform your playlists with a song thatíll stick in your head all weekend long
"The songs are powered through the choruses and verses by melodic alt rock vocals that are strongly reminiscent of PANIC! AT THE DISCO, making this [album] as much of a guilty pleasure as they are.
The keyboards also bring something new and epic to the genre, symphonic breakdowns, it ís breathtaking to hear it for the first time."
"What happens when you take a good olí lump of post-hardcore, fold in a dash of punk, as well as a pinch of Tim Burton-esque alternative elements, and toss them in a musical blender?
The result is a quizzical concoction that mostly fits the description of the interesting and intriguing sound of Jack the Envious.
Completely independent and a relatively fresh face on the scene, Jack the Envious already shows promise and originality."
There is something rude and anarchic in the songs of JACK THE ENVIOUS,
something freshy and young that at times reminds me of rebellious strident (but in a good way ...) of bands like LINKIN PARK or PIERCE THE VEIL.
when I listen to songs like 'Omens' or 'All Expectations Gone', I could not help but remember the lust for destruction and will scream and rave when I first heard the song 'Do What I Say' of CLAWFINGER no less."
"There's a confidence that runs throughout this [EP] that normally comes with years of experience and touring.
There's an almost effortless feel to the delivery of both the vocals and the instrumentation."
